After received the news of the loss of money from the 1976 Montreal Olympic in Canada, Any city appeared to make the 1984 Games. This was seen as a threat to the future of the Olympic Games. The IOC choose Los Angeles, and it was the first city that won money, around 200 millions of dollars.
